William David Magee

William David Magee, 29, passed away peacefully in his sleep on October, 1, 2016 in Boca Raton, FL.
William was born on August 12, 1987, the son of Dr. David and Cindy Magee of Jackson, TN. Will was happiest on a tennis court. He began preparing for a career in tennis from the age of 12 continuing throughout his high school and college years. He realized his dream in Boca Raton, where he was a tennis instructor. Will was also a gifted musician and played guitar in the praise band at First United Methodist in Jackson while in college at Lambuth University. Memories of his sweet and gentle personality will be cherished by all who love him.
He is survived by his parents, Dr. David and Cindy Magee of Jackson, TN his brothers, Hunt Magee and wife Rebecca of Memphis, TN, Gray Magee and fiancé Clare Williams of Lexington, KY; his sister, Hope Magee of Jackson, TN; his grandmother, Ramona Magee of Collierville, TN; aunt, Rene’ Bishop Dew and husband Steve of Germantown, TN; uncle, David William Bishop and wife Janet of Munford, TN and aunt, Gaye Magee McManus and husband John of Collierville, TN and cousins, Laura and Amy Claire Dew, Jennipher Bishop, Jamie McManus Conn and husband J.D. and Jessica McManus.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Mrs. Flossie Bishop and his maternal grandfather, Mr. James William Bishop, his paternal grandfather, Mr. William Ralph Magee and an uncle, James Lincoln “Link” Bishop.
SERVICES: A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday, October 8, 2016 in the chapel of Arrington Funeral Directors with Rev. Joey Reed officiating. Burial will follow in Ridgecrest Cemetery.
The family will be receiving friends on Friday, October 7, 2016 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Arrington Funeral Directors.
