William "Bill" Mitchel Patton Sr.

William Mitchel “Bill” Patton Sr., 88, of Jackson, TN passed away Tuesday January 20, 2015 at his residence. Mr. Patton was born January 2, 1927 in Jackson, TN the son of the late Thomas Mitchel Patton Sr. and Flossie Lane Patton. He was a member of West Jackson Baptist Church and the Curtiss Scott Sunday School Class. He was a WWII veteran and the owner of Patton Insurance Agency.
He is survived by his wife Frances Webb Patton; two sons, William Mitchel Patton Jr. and wife Tammy and Dan Webb Patton; two daughters, Amy Patton Woodward and husband Woody and Nena Patton Carruth; sisters, Edith Patton Kelso of Houston, TX, Bettye Patton Alexander of Nacogdoches, TX, Martha Patton Howlett of Los Angeles, CA and Doris Patton Coburn of Jackson, TN. and seven grandchildren.
SERVICES: Funeral services for Mr. Patton will be held 12:00 PM Saturday, January 24, 2015 at Arrington Funeral Directors with Rev. Lonnie Sanders and Rev. Ricky Clark officiating. Burial with military funeral honors will take place at 2:00 PM in Ridgecrest Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday January 24, 2015 from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM. In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to West Jackson Baptist Church Sanctuary Choir or Benevolence Fund.
