Waymond Earl Lester Sr.

Waymond Earl Lester, Sr., age 91, died Tuesday, August 17, 2021, at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.
He was born in Prentiss County, MS, the son of the late Joseph E. and Scott Elizabeth Ryan Lester. He was married to Melba Lester who preceded him in death October 31, 2020. Waymond was a retired service technician with Coca-Cola Bottling of Jackson. He was one of Jehovah’s Witnesses and very strong in his beliefs.
He is survived by his children, Waymond Earl Lester, Jr of Bartlett, TN, Dennis Lester of Henderson, TN and Joyce Barz of Jackson, TN; two stepdaughters, Connie Jones of Jackson, TN and Pennie Nelson of Bartlett, TN; two sisters, Thelma Hicks of Hawley, PA and Mary Lee Bleich of Ashland City, TN, along with ten grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.
A private family only service will be held at this time.
