Funeral services for W. L. ?Dub? Franks, 95, will be held at 4:00 PM Friday, April 15, 2011 in the chapel of Arrington Funeral Directors. Mr. Franks was born on 1/5/16 in Savannah, TN. He is survived by a son, Charles ?Maury? Franks & wife Linda of Arlington, TN; five grandchildren, Bill Franks, Jr & wife Leslie of Williamsburg, VA, Mark Franks & wife Angela of Arlington, TN, Teresa Castleman & husband Tim of Jackson, TN, Sharon Stephens & husband Tim of Bartlett, TN and Perry Franks & wife Gail of Byhalia, MS; fifteen great grandchildren, Michael Franks, Jennifer Franks, Nicole Smith, Adrian Franks, Preston Porter, Chloee Tsironis, Savannah Franks, Serena Morgan, Ashley Sauer, Timothy Castleman, Stephanie Castleman, Aubrey Stephens, Cody Stephens, Cameron Stephens and Cayce Stephens; four great-great grandchildren. Taylor Morgan, Tyler Morgan, Brandon Cooper and Tristan Stephens; a daughter in law, Alice ?Fay? Franks of Jackson; two nieces Jean Corneilus and Patsy Andrews both of Corinth, MS.He was preceded in death by Verble Aline Franks, two sisters, Louise Clifton & Berlean Rone & a son Billy Wayne Franks, Sr.The family would like to express sincere appreciation to Dub?s special caregiver Nell Brister for all the love and care she showed to him.The family is requesting that memorial donations be directed to the Salvation Army, 116 Allen Ave. Jackson, TN 38301. The family will be receiving friends on Thursday, April 14, 2011 from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Arrington Funeral Directors.
