Vera E. Agerter

July 11, 1932 — December 19, 2021

Vera E. Agerter, age 89, went to be with her heavenly family on December 19, 2021, at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.

Vera was born in Jackson, TN the daughter of the late George and Eunice Henry. She was married to Royce Agerter, who preceded her in death. She was retired from Calvary Baptist Church, serving as the church secretary for many years.

She is survived by nieces and nephews, Bryan Winter (Sherrie), Bill Winter (Crystal), Dedra Thraenert (Tim), Steve Moore (Kim), Cheryl Glenn (John), Holly Maroney (Steve), Deborah Gaw, Kelli Henry, Stephanie Eller (Terry), Karen Wheeler (Larry) and Janice Schroer, and many great-nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her sister Joyce Moore, her brother Fred Henry, and a niece Emily Glenn.

SERVICES: A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, December 22, 2021, in the chapel of Arrington Funeral Directors with Rev. Gary Snuffin officiating. Burial will follow in Hollywood Cemetery.

Friends will be received from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM on Wednesday at Arrington Funeral Directors.

Pallbearers will be Jonathan Glenn, Mike Roland, Larry Wheeler, Clay Browning, Steve Maroney, Bryce Kilgore and John Glenn.
