Susan Carol Watson

December 24, 1954 — April 12, 2019

Susan Carol Eliff Watson, resident of Spring Creek, TN passed away on Friday, April 12, 2019 at the age of 64 following sudden complications from a gastrointestinal disorder.
Susan always put her family first and was an encouraging friend to many. She enjoyed traveling with her family; she was always ready for the next adventure. She will truly be missed.
Susan was born on December 25, 1954 in Jackson, TN to Leonard Eliff and Rubye Stack Eliff. She grew up in Malesus, TN and graduated from South Side High School in 1972. She married her high school sweetheart, Billy Joe Watson, in 1974, and they eventually made their home in Spring Creek, TN.
She is preceded in death by her husband of thirty-seven years and her parents.
She is survived by her two daughters, Stacy Garrett (Chris Garrett) and Allison Archie (Jacob Archie); two granddaughters Madeline Grace Archie and Abigail Lynn Archie; two sisters Sandra Atherton (Joe Atherton) and Julia Futral (Larry Futral.) She is also survived by many other family members and dear friends who are truly loved.
SERVICES: Funeral services for Susan Watson will be held Tuesday, April 16, 2019 at 1:00 PM in the chapel of Arrington Funeral Directors.
The family will receive friends Monday from 4:00 – 6:00 PM at the funeral home.
The family has requested that memorial contributions be directed to the West TN School for the Deaf, 100 Berryhill Drive, Jackson, TN 38305.
