Sherry Elaine Rhodes

Sherry E. Rhodes, died peacefully on Wednesday, May 4, 2022, at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital at the age of 67.

She was born in Jackson, TN on April 6, 1955, the daughter of the late Otis and Onie Mae Bowman West. Sherry was a talented pianist, sharing her talents with many in the community and church. She also enjoyed singing and watching movies. She was a graduate of Shelby State Community College in Memphis, TN. Sherry was a long-term employee of Town & County Properties, serving as an apartment manager for a number of years. She attended Eagle Ministries in Sommerville, TN.

She is survived by her son, Nathan Rhodes of Jackson, TN; two sisters, Sandra Giddens of Jackson, TN and Gloria Knipper of Murfreesboro, TN; and three brothers, Bobby West of Arlington, TN, Terry West of Jackson, TN and Larry West and wife Linda of Jackson, TN.

SERVICES: A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, May 7, 2022, in the chapel of Arrington Funeral Directors. She will be laid to rest in Highland Memorial Gardens following the service.

The family will be receiving friends on Saturday, May 7, 2022, from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM at Arrington Funeral Directors.
