Ruby Miriam Phillips

Miriam Phillips, 82, died Thursday, June 20, 2013 at Sumner County Medical Center in Gallatin, TN.
She was born August 5, 1930 in Saulsbury, TN the daughter of the late Wiley Durden Prewitt and Lillian Ethel Smith Prewitt. She was a member of Bible Grove Baptist Church.
She is survived by a son, William “Butch” Mitchell of Ozark, MO; two daughters, Patricia Hege of Murfreesboro, TN and Anita Bryant of Jackson, TN; five grandchildren, Mark Davis II, Jeffry Davis, Rebecca Mitchell Bailey, Shane Mitchell and Jennifer Stone Lawson and 16 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a grandson, Gregory Bryant.
SERVICES: Funeral services will be held 10:00 A.M. Monday, June 24, 2013 at Arrington Funeral Directors with Rev. Tommy Stutts officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Sunday, June 23, 2013 from 2:00 P.M. until 5:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
