Robert Neil Brown

A visitation for Robert Neil Brown will be held on Monday, June 19, 2017 from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM at Arrington Funeral Directors. A private burial will follow the visitation.
Mr. Brown, age 85, died on Thursday, June 15, 2017 at the Jackson Madison County General Hospital.
He was born on February 24, 1932 in Jackson, TN and spent his boyhood years in Lexington, moving back to Jackson, where he graduated from Jackson High School in 1949. He served his country in the United States Army from December 1952 until November 1954 serving in Korea. He worked at the Jackson YMCA, City of Jackson Parks and Recreation Department and retired from the Madison County General Sessions Court Clerk’s office in 1996. Mr. Brown is the author of the novel “David’s Journey”, which was published in 2009.
He is survived by his step-daughter, Sandra Ellis and a grandson, Andrew Ellis.
