R.A. Yount

Memorial services for R.A. Yount Jr., 71, will be held 7:00 P.M. Friday April 13, 2012 at Arrington Funeral Directors with Pastor David L. Perry officiating. Mr. Yount died Monday April 9, 2012 at Jackson Madison Co. General Hospital.He was born August 23, 1940 in Bonne Terre, MO the son of the late Romie Austin Yount Sr. and Lottie Gilliam Yount. He worked at Anita?s Travel Station and was a travel agent for over 30 years.He is survived by his nieces, Jill Walter and husband Robert of St. Louis, MO and Francie Hamilton and husband Al of Colorado; great nieces, Julie Newberry and husband Bill, Laura Ratliff and husband Mark and a great great uncle to Taylor and Morgan Ratliff, all of St. Louis, MO.He also leaves his dear friends Betty Williams, Anita Battershell and Sammie Gullett.R.A. was preceded in death by his sisters Helen Hahn, Joy Moorman and a brother, Jack YountThe family requests memorials be directed to the American Heart Association or charity of donor?s choice.The family will receive friends Friday April 13, 2012 from 4:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home.Arrington Funeral Directors148 W.
