Nicholas Ray Dozier

December 29, 1979 — August 8, 2019

Nicholas Ray Dozier, 39, went home to be with his Lord and Savior at his home, surrounded by his family, on August 8, 2019. He was born December 29, 1979 in St. Joseph, MO, the son of Dennis Ray and Cindy Jolene Dozier. He was a 1998 graduate of South Holt High School, Oregon, Missouri. After graduation, he served in the United States Marine Corp for five years. He married Sharalie Herr on March 22, 2003, in Kernersville, North Carolina. They made their home in Kernersville for 12 years before moving to Medina, Tennessee for the last five years. Nick spent a lot of his time learning theology, studying scriptures, going to bible studies, and trying to lead others to Christ.
Throughout his entire five years of his illness, his faith held steady and never wavered. He counted it a privilege that God would entrust him with such a trial as this. His hope was that he could lead at least one person to Christ through his trial and testimony. Survivors include his wife Sharalie of the home and daughter Serenity, both of Medina, TN; parents Dennis and Cindy Dozier, Medina, TN; sisters, Athena (Randal) Johnson, Hutchinson, Kansas and Sabra (Manny) Perez, Medina, TN, grandmothers, Joan Hall and Sharon Dozier, both of Oregon, MO; nieces and nephews; Dalton Johnson, Alissa, and Macie Johnson, Caiden and Alana Perez; Joshua, Sarah, and Elijah Wyer, great nephew, Bellamy Johnson; aunts, uncles, cousins, and other extended family.
