Michael Lee Pusser, age 69, died on Saturday, September 11, 2021, at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.
He was born in Humboldt, TN on March 13, 1952, the son of the late James and Merline Coffman Pusser. He served his country in the United States Army with over 20 years of service with the rank of Staff Sgt. and was retired with thirty years of service from the Tennessee Department of Transportation as a bridge inspector. He enjoyed hunting and NASCAR racing.
He is survived by his son, Derek Bissette of Azal, TX, two daughters, Stephanie Bailey of Humboldt, TN and Kristi Cooper (Aaron) of Bethel Springs, TN; two brothers, Jerry Pusser (Patricia) and Terry Pusser of Reagan, TN; two sisters Patricia Harper of Jackson and Lisa Deloach of Jackson, TN; six grandchildren, Dakotah Butler, Olivia Cooper, Maegan Echols, Thomas Johnson, Trevor Bissette and Colby Bissette and three great grandchildren, Remington Johnson, Hudson White and Kymbree Echols.
He was preceded by his parents and a brother-in-law Gary Harper.
SERVICES: A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, September 14, 2021, at Beech Bluff Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM at Arrington Funeral Directors.
Pallbearers will be Keith Shelton, Norris Ross, Jerry Paul Ross, Brian Harper, Kevin Harper and Daniel Deloach.
Memorial contribution can be directed to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
