Funeral service for Mary Groves, age 82, will be held 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, May 30, 2012 at Arrington Funeral Directors. Burial will follow in Highland Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Groves died Saturday, May 26, 2012 at Jackson Madison Co. General Hospital. She was born December 24, 1929 in Carroll County, TN the daughter of the late Holder Vernon and Ordean Brown Bryant. She is survived by her husband Harold L. Groves; a daughter, Tamara Stanton (Dan); a daughter in law, Melody Adcock; a stepson, David D. Groves; two stepdaughters, Deborah Whitson, Donna Shepherd (Michael); three brothers, Junior Bryant, Bobby Bryant, Billy D. Bryant (Shirley); two sisters, Evelyn L. Carter and Roline G. Kramer; five grandchildren, Jeffery Adcock, Danny Stanton, Patrick Stanton, Sean Stanton, Jennifer Adcock; one great grandchild, Arianna Adcock; six step grandchildren, Ronald R. Sircy (Melindy), Michael L. Sircy(Denise), Jeremy D. Sircy (Janet), Jimmy S. Sircy, Michael J. Shepherd Jr., Lance D. Groves; six step great grandchildren, Michael Shepherd Jr., Peyton Sircy, Michael L. Sircy Jr., Selena Sircy, Noel Sircy and Shelby Sircy.Mary was preceded in death by her husbands Marvin Adcock, Howard Bartz and a son, Phillip R.
