Mark A. Davidson, age 58, died on Sunday, March 3, 2019 at his residence with his wife by his side.
Mark was born in Humboldt, TN on February 25, 1961, the son of Loretta Sloan Davidson and the late Benny Ray Davidson. He was a veteran of the United States Navy retiring from the Naval Reserve. He was employed with Wal-Mart for fifteen years. He was an active member of Hillcrest Baptist Church as a member of the Watchman Sunday school class, working the sound booth. He was a active member of the Faithwalk Jackson Community and was an avid fan of the University of Tennessee.
He is survived by his wife of six and half years, Susan Davidson of Jackson, TN; his mother Loretta Davidson of Atwood, TN; a son, Benjamin Davidson of Lawrence, KS; step children, Christopher Lloyd Jacks (Jimema) and their children James and Christian of Jackson, TN; Melissa Faye Arnold (Jacob) and their children, Lillian, Anthony, Elise and Crosley of Conroe, TX and Maggie Poe (Harley) of The Woodlands, TX; a sister Joetta Mayo (David) of Huntingdon, TN.
SERVICES: A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, March 8, 2019 at Hillcrest Baptist Church with Dr. Jerry Welch officiating.
The family will be receiving friends on Thursday, March 7, 2019 from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM and on Friday, March 8, 2019 from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM at Hillcrest Baptist Church, 2838 Paul Coffman Drive, Jackson, TN 38301.
The family is requesting that memorial donations be directed to the American Cancer Society, 2935 Highway 45 Bypass, Jackson, TN 38305.
