Margaret Page Tomlinson Jackson

Margaret Page Tomlinson Jackson, 71, left this earth on Sunday, March 3, 2019. She was born September 8, 1947 to parents James and Francis Burgin Tomlinson. Mrs. Jackson was a retired Madison County School Teacher of 30 years and an active member of Alpha Delta Kappa, a teacher’s sorority. She was a member of the Board of Directors at Farm Bureau as well as Farm Bureau Women’s Chairman, a member of both Vietnam Veterans of America and VFW Auxiliary, and held various offices in Brown’s Ruritan and was a lifelong member of Browns United Methodist Church where she helped coordinate and cook many Wednesday night meals.

Mrs. Jackson loved doing and serving others, enjoyed fishing, gardening, and she loved her children and cherished her grandson.

She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Danny W. Jackson of Jackson, TN; two sons, Samuel T. Jackson (Stacy McDonald) of Jackson, TN; and beloved Grandson Cody T. Jackson, of Jackson, TN; Keith D. Jackson (Carol) of White Bluff, TN; one daughter, Laura Jackson of Jackson, TN; two brothers, Jim Tomlinson (Ginny) and Lee Tomlinson (Donna) of Jackson, TN; three sisters, Molly Jowers of Murfreesboro, TN; Beth Moran (Joe) of Franklin, TN; and Teri Wells (Ted) of Jackson, TN; 13 nieces and nephews and 18 great nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her in-laws, Jamie and Doris Jackson and her uncle, Frank Tomlinson.

SERVICES: A funeral service will be held at 1:00 P.M. Thursday, March 7, 2019 at Arrington Funeral Directors with Bro. Steven Douglas and Bro. Sam Pace officiating. Burial will follow in Browns United Methodist Church Cemetery.
The family will be receiving friends on Wednesday, March 6, 2019 from 4:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at Arrington Funeral Directors.
