Leslie S. Raines

Graveside services for Leslie S. Raines, 93, will be held Sunday, January 6, 2013 at 1:00PM at Ridgecrest Cemetery with Sam Wylie of Skyline Church of Christ officiating. Mrs. Raines died Saturday, January 5, 2013 at Jackson –Madison County General Hospital.
Mrs. Raines was born July 7, 1919 in Montezuma, TN the daughter of the late Elmer and Beulah Woodruff Spencer. She worked in the office for many years at Skyline Church of Christ. Her life was dedicated to her family and Skyline Church of Christ where she was very active for over 50 years.
She is survived by three grandchildren, Chris Raines of Jackson, TN, Kevin Wise of Nashville, TN, Nolen Campbell of Knoxville, TN, one sister Mary Nell Langley of Martin, TN, six great grandchildren and a loving niece Judy Thornhill.
Mrs. Raines was preceded in death by her husband Edd Raines, son Charles Raines, daughter Patsy Raines, brothers James Spencer, Walter “Tip” Spencer, Gene Spencer, and sister Earle Spencer.
