Karly Oaks

Services for Karly Elize Oaks, age 17, will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday, November 20, 2011 in the chapel of Arrington Funeral Directors with Rev. Robert McBroom officiating. Karly died November 15, 2011 at 5:35 AM at Vanderbilt Children?s Hospital in Nashville, TN. Karly was born October 27, 1994 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital just minutes before her twin sister Katherine. Karly was an 11th grade student at Southside High School. Karly had a kind heart and was friendly and nurturing to her twin sister Katherine. Karly was a unique person who wanted to be liked by everyone she came in contact with her. Karly believed in Jesus Christ as her personal savior.Karly is survived by her parents Tony and Diana Oaks, her brothers, Kirt (Patty) and Keith, her sister, Katherine, a nephew Juan Flynn, grandparents, Jerry and Mae Austin, a special aunt, Ann Johnson and a host of aunts and uncles and other relatives, teachers and friends.Karly was preceded in death by her sister Kristy Oaks and maternal grandmother Helen Oaks.The visitation for Karly Elize Oaks will be Sunday, November 20, 2011 from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM at Arrington Funeral Directors, 148 W.
