Julia Anne Harris, known as Anne by most who knew her, age 71, of Jackson, TN passed away at Northbrooke Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center in Jackson, TN on Thursday, April 28, 2022.
Anne was born in Jackson, TN on Friday, October 6, 1950, to the late Paul G. Russell and Loretta (Dodds) Russell who survives. Other than her father she is preceded in death by her beloved daughter, Robyn Anne (Harris) Perry.
Anne was a woman of many talents. She worked for more than 36 years at Farm Credit as a loan officer. She became an instrumental part of the day-to-day operations and success. Anne had a feisty and quick- witted spirit. She enjoyed any opportunity to act crazy with silly games and to aggravate others. She loved to travel and every opportunity to dress up. She was known for always being prim and proper with her hair, make-up, and nails at their best. Her favorite color was blue and as a young girl she was blessed with the skill of pianist. Her most treasured times were those spent with her family, especially her grandchildren. She loved all children and had a charisma that drew children to her.
Anne was a 1968 graduate of Jackson High School and a member of East Chester Church of Christ where she was baptized many years ago.
She is loved and will forever be missed by son, Paul “Tracy” Harris and wife, Emily of Luray, TN; mother, Loretta Russell of Jackson, TN; sister, Bamby Counce and husband, Tom of Oakland, TN; grandchildren, Raven Alexis Cox, Thomas Harris, Ely Harris, Lacyanne Harris, and Tatum “T.T.” Noel; great-grandchild and fur baby, Zander Cox; as well as many friends and neighbors who also mourn her passing.
Graveside service will be Saturday, April 30, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. at Ridgecrest Cemetery with Bro. Steve Gibson and Bro. Stephen Calico officiating and burial to follow.
