Joan Benko

A funeral mass for Joan C. Benko, 69, will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, March 30, 2012 at Saint Mary?s Catholic Church with Father Robert Favazza officiating. Mrs. Benko died at her residence on Sunday, March 25, 2012. Arrington Funeral Directors are in charge of arrangements.A native of Connersville, Indiana, she was born on December 25, 1942, the daughter of the late Edger and Mary Jo Wedding Spillman. She was a communicant of Saint Mary?s Catholic Church of Jackson. She was preceded in death by her husband William A. Benko in August 2002.She is survived by her sons, Scott L. Huffman of Columbus, MS and Troy E. Huffman of Jackson, TN; a daughter, Christina E. Huffman-Kilgore of Jackson, TN; a foster daughter, Karen Shear of Huntingdon, TN; six grandchildren, Joshua S. Huffman, Dylan S. Huffman, William J. Kilgore, Shawn VanBriggle, Alicia VanBriggle and Hope Schmidt; three brothers, Bobby kempf, Bill Brothers and Chuck Brothers all of Indiana and three sisters, Janie Scudder, Susie Brothers both of Indiana and Kay Huffman of Jackson, TN.The family is requesting memorial contributions to be directed to Sacred Heart of Jesus High School, 185 Greenfield Drive, Jackson, TN 38305.The family will be receiving friends on Friday, March 30, 2012 beginning at 10:00 AM at Saint Mary?s Catholic Church, 1665 Highway 45 By-pass, Jackson, TN 38305.Arrington Funeral Directors, 148 W.
