Jason Keith Shelton

Jason Keith Shelton, known by the name "Bird", age 42, died suddenly, Saturday, August 21, 2021 in Jackson, TN. He was born in Jackson, TN the son of Wanda Strain of Medon, TN and Keith Shelton of Beech Bluff, TN. He loved all sports but especially Atlanta Braves, Tennessee Vols, and was very involved in his girls’ sports. Jason loved his family and especially his children.

He is survived by his three daughters: Camryn Shelton of Pinson, TN; Mackinley Shelton of Pinson, TN; Sydney Shelton of Jackson, TN; two brothers: Scott (Melony) Shelton of Jackson, TN; Mark (Tiffany) Strain of Pinson, TN; one sister: Shannon (Jimmy) Brittain of Pinson, TN; his father: Keith (Teresa) Shelton and his mother: Wanda (David) Strain of Medon, TN.

Pallbearers to serve are: Steven Tucker, Alex Tucker, James Tucker, and Andrew Tucker. Honorary Pallbearers are Josh Volner, Josh Tennsley, Scott Anthony, and Jereme Cooper.

SERVICES: The family will be receiving friends on Wednesday, August 25, 2021 from 4:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. at Arrington Funeral Directors with a Funeral Service following at 6:00 P.M. The burial will occur at 10:00 A.M. Thursday at Maple Springs Cemetery. Everyone is welcome to attend.
