Hugh Richardson

Funeral service for Hugh Richardson, 80, will be held 4:00 P.M. Sunday May 27, 2012 at Arrington Funeral Directors with Rev. Ken Bowman and Rev. Ronnie Wilburn officiating. Burial with military honors will follow in Ridgecrest Cemetery. Mr. Richardson died Thursday, May 24, 2012 at Jackson Madison Co. General Hospital.Hugh was born February 2, 1932 in Jasper, AL the son of the late Austin and Lula Mae Richardson. He served in the Navy and was a Korean War veteran. He was a member of Meridian Baptist Church and retired from SM Lawrence after 30 years.He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Margaret Bowman Richardson; three sons, Stan Welch of Irving, TX, Ted Welch and wife Brenda of Jackson, TN and Malcolm Richardson of Pinson, TN; two brothers, Leonard Richardson and wife Mary Nell, Roger Richardson and wife Debbie; two sisters Grace Nerren and husband George and Patricia Harper and husband Loy Gene, all of Jackson, TN.In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to: Jackson Madison Co.
