Glenda Leona Ross

Glenda Leona Ross was a loving wife, friend, sister, mother, grandmother, and most recently, a great-grandmother. She left this world on September 20, 2021, at the age of 76.

She was born to George and Iris Mae Lewis on December 10, 1945. After graduating high school, Glenda took off for adventure joining the U.S. Army where she met her husband, Michael J. Ross. Together they had three children: Michael Jr., Amanda, and Heather.

Glenda loved everything to do with family. Spending time with her, mother, brothers and sisters and their families was at the top of her list. Talking, telling stories, sharing music, visiting, caring, and laughing were all her strengths. In addition to her family mentioned above, she is survived by her brothers Jerry, Larry, Roger, Ricky, and Michael, and her beloved baby sister Sandra. Glenda was so very proud of her sixteen grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

A viewing is scheduled on Saturday, September 25, 2021, from 12pm - 2pm, with a funeral service beginning at 2pm at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 923 Pipkin Rd. in Jackson, TN. In lieu of flowers please visit a family member, reach out to someone who needs a hug, or pay a kindness forward on her behalf.
