Frank Eugene Richardson

Mr. Frank Eugene Richardson, beloved husband, father, and grandfather, departed from this life and entered his Heavenly home on Saturday, November 20, 2021 at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital in Jackson, TN.
Born the son of the late James Eugene and Hilda (Hudson) Richardson, on Thursday, July 18, 1940, in Miami, FL. Other than his parents he is preceded in death by his daughter, Hilda Elaine Jones, brothers, Larry Wayne Richardson and Jon Herbert Richardson and sister, Ann Richardson Caldwell.
Frank joined the love of his life, Janice Elaine Osborne in marriage on March 24, 1973, after being introduced by mutual friends in 1972. They blended their families to share in a happy and devoted life together. He will always be cherished for the faithful, caring husband and father he was for his family.
Frank joined the United States Navy after graduating from Lew Wallace High School in Gary, IN. After his service to his country, Frank began his life’s work as an over-the-road truck driver and retired from Averitt Express. Before retirement, Frank was promoted to training other drivers who joined the Averitt team. Frank loved his work and the opportunity it provided for him to meet new people and maintain lasting relationships. He loved country music and especially loved his fur baby, “Baby.”
He will be tremendously missed and never forgotten by his devoted wife of 48 years, Janice Richardson; daughters, Sherri Michelle Uhde of Duluth, GA, Sonya Muriel Qudus of Fort Wayne, IN, Shannon Marisa Hutcherson and husband, Mike of Oakfield, TN, and Barbara Rearick Beiter and husband, Bill of Jackson, TN; son, Mark Rearick and wife, Kim of Warner Robbins, GA grandchildren, Charissa Milton and significant other Derrick, Chasity Cotto and husband, Charles, and Shannon Jones and husband, David, Megan Cox and husband, Tyson, Brandi Sanchez and husband, Wilfredo, Michael Hutcherson and wife, Mallory, Kristen Marissa Hutcherson and fiancé, Austin, Kaleb Mitchell Hutcherson and girlfriend, Skyler, Bridget Keel Hill and Matthew Keel; 8 great-grandchildren; special niece, Patti Armstrong, special friends, Ron and Ruth Maxwell as well as many other friends and neighbors who will mourn his passing.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 24, 2021, at Meridian Baptist Church with Rev. Curtis Gardener officiating and interment to follow in Ridgecrest Cemetery. The family will receive friend at Meridian Baptist Church on Tuesday, November 23, 2021, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. and on Wednesday November 24, 2021, from 10:00 a.m. until time for the service.
