Flossie Jean Cupples

Flossie Jean Cupples, 77, died on Sunday, May 19, 2013 at the Jackson Madison County General Hospital. She was born in Bogota, TN on January 7, 1936, the daughter of the late Clarence Odell and Lola Mae Gwin Ables. Flossie was a homemaker and the mother of five children. She enjoyed making jewelry, collecting dolls, working puzzles and working in her garden. She also had a special love for animals. She was a member of Oaklawn Baptist Church of Jackson.
She is survived by her daughters, Shirley Blankenship and husband Gary of Humboldt, TN and Pam Coughlin of Jackson, TN; her sons, Johnney Cupples and Jeff Cupples and wife Kim all of Jackson, TN; a daughter in law, Debbie Cupples of Jackson, TN; her brothers, James Odell Ables of Humboldt, TN and Tommy Lee Ables and wife Vickie of Linden, TN; her sisters, Martha Sue Webb of Jackson, TN, Maggie Pickard of Humboldt, TN and Georgie Mulligan of Milan, TN; her grandchildren, Dana Davidson and husband Mark, Tina Dove and husband Wesley, Christi Cupples, Johnney Cupples, Jr., Jordan Cupples, Steven Powell, Gary Blankenship II and wife Christi, Lisa Pounds and husband Josh, James Coughlin and wife Stephanie, Will Hudson and wife Cassie, Sarah Beth Hudson, Jansen Cupples and Avery Cupples and great grandchildren, Addison Davidson, Alex Dove, Landon Dove, Alexis Powell, Aiden Powell, Hayden Pounds, Derek Hedrick, Hannah Mathewson and Alyson Coughlin.
She was preceded in death by a son, James Lynn Cupples; a brother, Richard Ables; a sister, Linda Collins and two brothers in laws, Charles Webb and Charles Pickard.

The family will be receiving friends on Monday, May 20, 2013 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Arrington Funeral Directors.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 21, 2013 at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Arrington Funeral Directors with Rev. Paul Roaton officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers will be Mark Davidson, Wesley Dove, Gary Blankenship II, Josh Pounds, Addison Davidson and Craig Collins.
