Faye Butler Lewelling, age 86, died on Thursday, November 17, 2016 at Northbrook Healthcare of Jackson.
A native of Middleton, TN, Faye was born on July 18, 1930 the daughter of the late Wesley and Vester Lain Antwine. She was preceded in death by her first husband Howard Butler in 1985 and her second husband John Lewelling in 2008. She was a member of Parkview Baptist Church of Jackson. She was retired from One-Hour Martinizing Laundry Cleaners as a seamstress with 20 years of service. She loved to cook, garden and spend time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Faye was a volunteer with the hospital and participated in many church activities.
She is survived by her children, Willard Butler and wife Wanda of Milan, TN, Terry Butler of Jackson, TN, Ann Kelley and husband Dale of Hohenwald, TN, David Butler and wife Becky of Jackson, TN and Janie Moore and husband Eddie of Lexington, TN; two brothers, Harry Antwine and wife Liz of Jackson, TN and Mickey Antwine and wife Joanne of Grant, AL; a sister, Yvonne Weatherford of Bartlett, TN; seven grandchildren, Greg Allen and wife Amy, Chad Butler and wife Robin, Kimberly Pruitt and husband Zach, Nicole Melugin and husband Jason, Ryan Moore and wife Angela, Chris Butler and Drew Moore and nine great grandchildren, Holden Melugin, Sydney Melugin, Nash Melugin, Trey Hensley, Paul Allen, Meredith Butler, Ava Pruitt, Rylan Pruitt and Olivia Moore. Stepchildren Richard Lewelling, wife Janice and family, David Lewelling, wife Mary and family, Rebecca D’Antonio and family, and Jeanette Woofter, husband Brian and family.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Bill Antwine and Elbie Antwine and a brother-in-law, Jimmy Weatherford.
SERVICE: A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM Sunday, November 20, 2016 in the chapel of Arrington Funeral Directors with Rev. Richard Lewelling and Rev. David Lewelling officiating. Burial will follow in Friendship Cemetery in Chester County.
The family will be receiving friends on Saturday, November 19, 2016 from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM at Arrington Funeral Directors.
