Eddie Dewayne Moore, age 53, passed away Monday, November 8, 2021, at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital. He was born May 8, 1968, in Jackson, TN, the son of Eddie Roy and Sherry Surratt Moore.
He grew up in Memphis, TN, graduating from Kirby High School where he played football, basketball, and baseball. From 1992 until the present, he worked in many capacities for FedEx.
Eddie married Anissa Lack on July 22, 1995, and they shared 26 years of a beautiful life together. Anissa was the absolute love of his life! Completing this marriage were the birth of three wonderful boys: Tyler, born October 15, 1997, Justin, born January 6, 2000, and Colby, born January 22, 2006. These three boys were Eddie’s pride and joy!
Tyler graduated from Trinity Christian Academy and then enlisted in the marines and served four years. Justin graduated from Trinity Christian Academy and is working for Bill Hill construction as a foreman. Colby attends Trinity Christian Academy where he plays football and baseball.
Eddie is survived by his mother, Sherry Moore, his favorite mother-in-law, Nancy Lack, and leaves behind many special friends and family.
He was proceeded in death by his father Eddie Roy (Pop) in 2019, and a special father-in-law, Don Lack in 2011.
SERVICES: A Celebration of Eddie’s life will be held Saturday, November 20, 2021, at 4:00PM at the Trinity Christian Academy Football Field. There will not be a public visitation.
The family has requested that memorial contributions be directed to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, P. O. Box 1000, Dept. 142, Memphis TN, 38148 or Trinity Christian Academy Football Program, 10 Windy City Rd, Jackson, TN 38305.
