Dr. Brian Edward Victor McCrudden, MDA memorial service for Dr. Brian Edward Victor McCrudden, 70, will be held 1:00 P.M. Saturday, June 19, 2010 at St. Luke?s Episcopal Church with Rev. Father Sean Ferrell officiating. Dr. McCrudden died on Tuesday, June 15, 2010 at his Jackson residence. Dr. McCrudden was born on August 7, 1939, in Hamilton Ontario, Canada, the son of the late Edward and Gladys Fawcett McCrudden. He received his medical diploma from the University of Western Ontario Medical School in London, Ontario in 1965 and received his Certification and Fellowship in Radiology in November 1973. He was a member of the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario, the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, the American Medical Association, the Tennessee Medical Association, the West Tennessee Consolidated Medical Assembly, the Tennessee Radiological Society and the American College of Radiology. He served in the Canadian Army as a Captain Medical officer from July 1966 through July 1969. Before coming to Jackson, TN in 1978 to work with Regional Hospital, Dr. McCrudden was a Radiologist at St. Joseph?s Hospital in Sarnia Ontario. In 2001 Dr. McCrudden retired from his partnership with Regional Hospital of Jackson and began doing locum work with various hospitals and clinics in West and Middle Tennessee.He had a love for all types of music and enjoyed playing his guitar. He enjoyed gardening and traveling with his wife. He was a member of St. Luke?s Episcopal Church of Jackson, TN.He is survived by his beloved wife, Carol McCrudden of Jackson, TN; a daughter, Lauren Smith and husband Kyle of Memphis, TN; two sons, Chris McCrudden and wife Deanna of Jackson and Stephen McCrudden and his fiancée Donna of Jackson, TN and two grandchildren, Seth and Brianna McCrudden.Dr. McCrudden was preceded in death by a son, Jeffrey McCrudden in 1996 and a sister Susan in 1972.The family has requested that memorial contributions be directed to St. Luke?s Episcopal Church, 309 E. Baltimore, Jackson, TN 38301.The family will be receiving friends on Friday, June 18, 2010 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM in the Nave at St. Luke?s Episcopal Church.Arrington Funeral Directors148 W.
