Dorothy B. Carneal Funeral services for Dorothy Carneal, 76, will be held 2:00 P.M. Monday July 25, 2011 at Arrington Funeral Directors with Rev. Jay Hutchens officiating. Burial will follow in Ridgecrest Cemetery.Mrs. Carneal passed away Friday July 22, 2011 at her residence. She was born January 8, 1935 in Henderson County the daughter of the late William Craig Byrd and Leone Barr Byrd, who survives. She attended the Promise Church in Jackson, TN and worked in manufacturing and retail until retiring from Oakfield Outlet Store. She was known for her excellent cooking and special events catering and enjoyed participating in the Room at the Inn program. She is survived by her mother Elmer Leone Byrd; the father of her children, Robert W. Jones and wife Lola; her former husband, Carlton M. Carneal; her loving companion Blaze; daughters, Lynn Jones McDonald and husband Barry of Nolensville, TN, Lisa Jones Triolo and husband Mike of Charlotte, TN; brothers, Bill Byrd and wife Judy, Tom Byrd and wife Angelique, Gary Byrd and wife Renate, Terry Byrd, Danny Byrd and wife Teressa and Chuck Byrd and wife Jane; sisters, Lorene Holland and husband Robert, Mary Wilson, Brenda Baugh, Barbara Borgia, Pansy Dovich and husband Chuck and Seven Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter Lori Diane Jones and a sister Regina Chamberlain.Pallbearers to serve are Jon Derek Brogden, Matthew McDonald, Nicholas Brogden, Ethan Brogden, Craig Cohea and Eric Spann Honorary pallbearers will be granddaughters Maya Brogden, Paige McDonald and members of her prayer group from Promise Church. Memorials may be directed to the National Kidney Cancer Foundation P.O.
