Doris Bost Browder

December 16, 1936 — August 4, 2022

Doris Bost Browder, 85, departed her earthly home to be with the Lord on August 4, 2022.

Doris was born on December 16, 1936, to the late Forrest Bost and the late Janie Bost.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Buford Irwin Browder, and her brother Larry Bost.

Doris was raised in Bolivar, Tennessee and graduated from Central High School. She attended the University of Memphis until moving to California while her husband served in the Navy. Eventually, the couple moved back to West Tennessee where Doris began her career at the Eye Clinic. She found much enjoyment in her job and adored the wonderful people that she worked alongside. She retired as front office manager after 37 years of service. Doris attended Aldersgate Methodist Church and was an active member in the Wisdom Seekers Sunday School class. She enjoyed baking cakes for the RIFA ministry and also supported the work of Women of Hope Ministries.

Doris is survived by her son, Bradley Browder and daughter Leigh Bieber (John). She has two grandchildren, Jacob and Jill Bieber. Also surviving Doris is her sister, Ann Eichler, three special nieces, Marilyn Brodmerkle, Beth Vincent and Amy Sain, sister-in-law, Rosalyn Browder and adored friend, Sue Alexander.

A graveside service will be held at Ridgecrest Cemetery on Monday, August 8, 2022, at 1:00 p.m.
