Cryptside services for Charles W. Cobb, 91, will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, May 7, 2012 in the Chapel Mausoleum of Highland Memorial Gardens. Mr. Cobb died on Friday, May 4, 2012 at the West Tennessee Veterans? Home in Humboldt. Arrington Funeral Directors is in charge of arrangements.A native of Jackson, TN, he was born on March 3, 1921, the son of the late Elva and Philura Pate Cobb. He was married to Alice ?Toots? Cobb who preceded him in death in June 2002. He was a retired hardware salesman working for several companies during his employment. He served in the U.S. Army National Guard and later the U. S. Air Force during WWII as a Prop Specialist. He was a member of First Christian Church of Jackson, TN.He is survived by special friends, Laura and Charles Byrd and their children Margaret Anne, Holloway and Grace of Jackson, TN; a sister in law, Mary Hawks of Jackson, TN and a nephew, Terry Hawks.Memorial donations may be directed to the charity of the donor?s choice.A special thank you is given to the caregivers with Home Instead Senior Care andW.TN Veterans?
