Brown G Freeman

Brown Freeman, age 93, passed away October 18, 2021. He was born in Centerville, TN on July 23, 1928. He was the son of the late Samuel Waymer Freeman and Gertrude Ava Milan Freeman. He was a member of Old Hickory Church of Christ. He worked at Genesco in Nashville for 45 years as a pattern engineer. In his retirement years he did woodworking and was a talented furniture maker.
He is survived by his two daughters Glenda Norment and husband Norm of Decaturville, TN, Cathy Gainer and husband Willis of Albuquerque, NM, three grandchildren Nicole Whittemore and husband Benji of Murfreesboro, TN, Nick Norment of Jackson, TN, Leah Gainer of Albuquerque, NM, three great grandchildren Braedan, Jackson and Brooks of Murfreesboro.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 71 years Lucille Freeman and three brothers, Bobby Freeman, Ward Freeman and Dwight Freeman.
SERVICES: A graveside service will be held at 10:00 AM Friday October 22, 2021, at Ridgecrest Cemetery with Gordon Percell officiating.
