Brenda C. Pusser, 57, died on Friday, October 25, 2013 at the Jackson Madison County General Hospital.
A native of Bolivar, TN she was born on December 28, 1955, the daughter of the late Thomas Russell and Dorothy McKinnie Hensley. She was married to Rex Pusser, who preceded her in death in 2007. She was employed as a secretary with Hillcrest Baptist Church of Jackson, TN. She enjoyed reading and gardening and being with family. She was an avid Sports fan including the Tennessee Volunteers and Dallas Cowboys
She is survived by her daughters, Faralee Cox Garland and husband John of Arlington, TN and Christie Pusser of Jackson, TN; a brother, Robert Hensley of Middleton, TN; a sister, Phyllis Tranum and husband Travis of Middleton, TN; and four grandchildren, Anna Marie Pusser, Malia Christine Pusser, Olivia Hope Garland and Landry Kate Garland.
SERVICES: A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, October 28, 2013 at Hillcrest Baptist Church with Dr. Jerry Welch, Rev. Robert Gibson and Kevin Alexander officiating. The family will receive friends on Sunday, October 27, 2013 from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Hillcrest Baptist Church.
The family is requesting memorial contributions to be directed to Hillcrest Baptist Church, 2838 Paul Coffman Drive, Jackson, TN or to Mid-South Transplant Foundation, 8001 Centerview Parkway, Cordova, TN 38018.
