Bettye Carol Kennon, passed away on Sunday morning June 5, 2022, surrounded by her loving family at the age of 85.
Bettye as born on June 6, 1936, to parents the late Otha Allen and Muriel Dismuke Allen in Jackson, TN. Other than her parents she was preceded in death by her beloved husband Larry E. Kennon and a sister Judy Jennings. Her daughters, grandchildren and great grandchildren were her greatest treasures. She was an avid antique dealer and enthusiast. She loved summertime and working outside in her yard with her husband alongside her.
She is survived by and will be forever loved and missed by her two daughters, Amy Mathieu Mathis and her husband Danny and Jo Lyn Beard and her husband Danny, seven grandchildren, Kevin Wall, Brittany Fuller, Jordan Gray, Logan White, Levi Gray, Cooper Mathieu, and Lindsey Wells; eleven great grandchildren; two sisters, Marilyn Ferrell, and Jeanne Buford and four nieces and two nephews.
SERVICES: A funeral service will be conducted on Friday, June 10, 2022, in the chapel of Arrington Funeral Directors, with Brent Smith, minister officiating. She will be lad to rest following the service at Ridgecrest Cemetery.
The family will be receiving friends from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM on Friday, June 6, 2022, at Arrington Funeral Directors.
Pallbearers will be Kevin Wall, Jordan Gray, Levi Gray, Cooper Mathieu, Mike Fuller and Josh White.
Honorary pallbearers will be Danny Mathis, Danny Beard, and Austin Wells.
