Alexander BrueggemanA memorial visitation for Alex Brueggeman, 20, will be held Saturday February 13, 2010 from 1:00 P.M. until 3:00 P.M. at Arrington Funeral Directors. Mr. Brueggeman died Thursday February 10, 2010 at his residence. Alex was born on October 30, 1989. He attended the University of Memphis, where, as a twelve-year-old, he was the youngest Barry M. Goldwater Scholarship recipient. He was an avid computer builder and gamer. He is survived by his father Dr. Mike Brueggeman of Jackson, TN; his mother Gay McCarter of Washington D.C.; grandmother Ruby McCarter of Jackson, TN and paternal grandparents Jack and Rosie Brueggeman of Alton, IL.
