Albert “Boots” Curtis Davidson, Jr.

Albert “Boots” Curtis Davidson, Jr., age 66, departed this earth on Friday, March 8, 2019, in Jackson, Tennessee.
Mr. Davidson was born on April 15, 1952, in Humboldt, Tennessee, to Albert Curtis Davidson, Sr., and Aline Young Davidson. He was raised in Adamsville, Tennessee, and graduated from Adamsville Junior Senior High School in 1970. Thereafter, he moved to Jackson, Tennessee, where he has primarily resided since that time. Mr. Davidson was previously employed in the restaurant business as well as selling insurance and vehicles. Prior to his retirement, he was employed as a correctional officer at Whiteville Correctional Facility in Whiteville, Tennessee. During his free time Mr. Davidson enjoyed being outdoors, golfing, and cheering on his University of Tennessee Volunteers. Throughout his life, Mr. Davidson found joy in bringing happiness to others through his stories and laughter. He will always be remembered by his outgoing personality and infectious smile.
Mr. Davidson is survived by his partner of twenty-two years, Brenda Sipes of Jackson, Tennessee, and his two children, Brent Davidson of Knoxville, Tennessee, and Leigh Ann Foster (Wesley) of Adamsville, Tennessee. He is also survived by two grandchildren, Naylor and Rhodes Foster of Adamsville, Tennessee; a sister, Marcia Duffey of Lake Mary, Florida; and a brother, Joe Davidson of Bethel Springs, Tennessee. Special people beloved by Mr. Davidson include David Lynn Sipes of Bolivar, Tennessee; Don and Tammy Taylor of Bolivar, Tennessee; and Coty, Sarah, Kaitlyn, and Hunter Taylor of Hornsby, Tennessee.
Mr. Davidson was preceded in death by Albert Curtis Davidson, Sr., Aline Young Davidson, and his sister, Pat Porter.
Visitation for Mr. Davidson will be Sunday, March 10, 2019, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. followed by funeral services at 3:00 p.m. All will be held at Arrington Funeral Directors in Jackson, Tennessee, with Mr. Charles Whitten of Jackson, Tennessee, officiating.
