Shirley Fouser, age 85, died on Thursday, December 22, 2016 at the Jackson Madison County General Hospital.
Shirley was born in Chicago, IL on October 22, 1931, the daughter of the late Rory and Mary Kuhn Taylor. She was married to the late William Fouser. She was a communicant of St. Mary’s Catholic Church. She was a homemaker who enjoyed many activities that included being an Artist, Bowling several time a week and golfing. She was a former City Councilwoman in Wilsonville, OR. She loved her family and her grandchildren were very special to her.
She is survived by her children, Barbara Wencel and husband Don of Marietta, GA, Stephen Millspaugh and wife Jane of Jackson, TN, Danny Millspaugh and wife Carla of Adams, TN and Denise Millspaugh of Jackson, TN; her grandchildren, Venessa, Matt, Danielle, Mark, Kim, Jason, Tara and Sam and eleven great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Barbara McMahon and a son-in-law, Curt Crowley.
SERVICES: A memorial visitation will be held on Thursday, December 29, 2016 from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM in the chapel of Arrington Funeral Directors, with a memorial service at 7:00 PM.
The family is requesting that memorial contributions be directed to the American Cancer Society, 2935 Highway 45 Bypass, Jackson, TN or to the Jackson-Madison County Humane Society, 23 Pinnacle Drive, Jackson, TN 38301.
