Sarah Elizabeth Gobelet

Sarah Elizabeth Gobelet, 75, died, as she requested, peacefully at her residence surrounded by her husband and children.
She was born in Humphreys County, TN the daughter of the late Archie J. and Hesta Winters Stewart. She was employed with Jackson Madison County General Hospital for 41 years in Medical records. She taught Sunday school and was an active member at Union Grove Baptist Church. She loved her family and gardening.
Sarah is survived by her husband Bobby Gobelet of Beech Bluff, TN, three sons, Bobby Gobelet of Beech Bluff, TN, Danny Gobelet (Kathy) of Burns, WY, Dewayne Hendrix (Susan) of Henderson, TN, two daughters, Angela Gobelet of Jackson, TN, and Syrena Gayle Rankin, twelve grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and one sister Margret Dolejs (Chuck). She was preceded in death by one son Adam Gobelet and seven siblings.
SERVICES: Funeral service will be held Friday, February 17, 2017 at 1:00PM in the chapel of Arrington Funeral Directors. The family will be receiving friends on Thursday, February 16, 2017 from 4:00PM until 6:00PM at the funeral home. There will be a private family burial in Liberty Cemetery.
The family has requested in lieu of flowers that memorial contributions be directed to Union Grove Baptist Church, 755 Beech Bluff Rd, Beech Bluff, TN 38315 or Hospice of West Tennessee, 1804 Highway 45 By-Pass, Jackson, TN 38305.
