Ruby Neal Stallings Dudley passed away February 12, 2015 at her home.
Mrs. Dudley was born October 14, 1932, in Crockett County, TN, to the late David and Floy (Neal) Stallings.
She graduated from Alamo High School in 1950, and was a member of the Beta Club and basketball team. After graduation, she moved to Jackson with her mother and attended West Tennessee Business College until she went to work at the Jackson Clinic. She worked there until her marriage in 1953 and then became a homemaker.
She devoted her life to her family, whom she loved dearly. She was involved in all her children’s and grandson’s activities.
She was a faithful member of North Jackson Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 56 years, Bill Dudley and her son, John Dudley.
She is survived by one daughter, Deborah (Jim) Collinsworth of Jackson, TN; one grandson, Andrew (Andrea) Turner of Knoxville, TN; one sister, Mary Ellen (Rubert) Williams of Jackson, TN and several nieces and nephews.
SERVICE: A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 14, 2015 at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Arrington Funeral Directors with David Powell, minister officiating. Burial will follow at Highland Memorial Gardens.
The family will be receiving friends at Arrington Funeral Directors on Saturday from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to North Jackson Church of Christ, 2780 Highway 45 Bypass, Jackson, TN 38305.
