Josie Arlene Spain

Funeral services for Josie Arlene Pendergrass Spain, 86, will be held 2:00 P.M. Monday, April 1, 2013 at North Jackson Church of Christ with David Powell officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Spain died Friday March 29, 2013 at NHC Healthcare in Franklin, TN. She was born April 25, 1926 in Carroll County, TN the daughter of the late Frank and Novie Pendergrass.
Mrs. Spain was a faithful and dedicated Christian, a true humble servant of the Lord. She was a great example to her friends and family and will be deeply missed. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
She is survived by a son Mitchell W. Spain and wife Linda; three daughters, Belinda Miller and husband George, Terry Cozart and Tina Welch; eight grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.
Mrs. Spain was preceded in death by her husband Jessie Mitchell Spain; a brother, Duncan Pendergrass and a sister, Thelma Baumgardner.
The family will receive friends Monday, April 1, 2013 from 12:00 P.M. until 2:00 P.M. at North Jackson Church of Christ.
