Joseph Harold Watson Jr.

Joseph Harold Watson Jr. age 68 died Friday, morning March 15, 2013 at Regional Hospital. Harold was born February 23, 1945 in Jackson, Tennessee. He was the son of the late Joseph Harold Watson Sr. and Velora Buck Watson. He was a life long farmer in Madison County. He graduated from North Side High School and attended the University of Tennessee at Knoxville. Harold was very active in various agriculture related organizations including: FFA, Madison Co. and Tennessee Young Farmers & Homemakers, American Farm Bureau Young Farmers and Ranchers National Committee, Madison County Farm Bureau, Madison County Livestock Association, Tennessee Hereford Association, Tennessee Beef Agribition, West Tennessee State Fair, and the Tennessee Fair Association. Mr. Watson was also a long time trustee of the Browns Cemetery Association.

He is survived by his wife Carol Ann (Exum) Watson, sons Joseph Harold Watson III (Jody) and his wife Diana, Scott Exum Watson and his wife Carrie, grandchildren Joseph Hunter Watson and Emma Grace Watson.
Visitation will be Sunday afternoon March 17, 2013 from 3:00 PM until 6:00 PM at Arrington Funeral Directors. A Memorial service will be held Monday March 18, 2013 at 1:00 PM in the chapel of Arrington Funeral Directors, with Rev. Clinton Buck and Rev. Steven J. Callicoatt officiating.
