Hye Yon Benard, 62, passed away on March 9, 2016 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.
She was born February 2, 1954 in Pusan, South Korea and was the daughter of Su Nam Kim and Gun Jin Sun. She was a sew machine operator at Milan Seating Systems until retirement. Hye was an active member of the Korean Baptist Church of Jackson where she served as deacon for over 20 years. Her church and her family were the most important things in her life.
She is survived by her husband, Jim Benard of Jackson, TN; two sons, Don Maurice Taylor and Corwyn Karisein Williams both of Milan, TN; one daughter, Christine Taylor Anderson of Milan, TN; one sister, Eunhae Kim of South Korea and ten grandchildren.
SERVICES: Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 12, 2016 at 5:00PM at Korean Baptist Church, inside Calvary Baptist Church. The family will receive friends on Friday from 4:00PM until 6:00PM at Arrington Funeral Directors.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests contributions be made in memory of Hye Yon Benard to the Korean Baptist Church of Jackson, 119 Oil Well Rd, Jackson, TN 38305.
