Donald "Chuck" Dean Devreese

Donald “Chuck” Dean DeVreese, age 90, died on Tuesday, December 6, 2016 at his residence.
A native of South Bend, IN, He was born on October 7, 1926, the son of the late Goldie Smith and Charles DeVreese. He served two years as a member of the United States Navy during WWII being stationed on Guam. He was retired as the manager of Business Development with the Bendix Corporation with thirty-one years of service. After retirement he enjoyed spending his time playing golf. He was a communicant of St. Mary’s Catholic Church. He was an avid fan of Notre Dame Football and the St. Louis Cardinals.
He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Alice Logan DeVreese; children, Carolyn (James) Alleman, James (Debra) DeVreese, Charles DeVreese, Teresa (Matthew) Liberkowski, Paul (Stacy) DeVreese, Joseph (Monica) DeVreese; sixteen grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
SERVICES: A funeral mass will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday. December 10, 2016 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church with Father David Graham officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
The family will be receiving friends on Saturday, December 10, 2016 from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM at St. Mary’s Catholic Church.
Pallbearers to serve will be Daniel Liberkowski, John DeVreese, Nicholas DeVreese, Matthew Alleman.
The family is requesting that memorial contributions be directed to St. Mary’s Catholic Church 1665 Highway 45 Bypass, Jackson, TN 38305.
