Born in Trenton, N.J. to Ruth and Daniel Swal. He is survived by his wife Lisa, his daughters, Vanessa, Rebecca, Megan, Cassandra and Melissa. Also by his sister Donna Haliday and brother Daniel Swal.
He attended Steinert High School after which he joined the Marine Corps. He served his country for 8 years. He started out his truck driving career with JB Hunt. After 11 years he moved over to Crete Transportation. Amazingly, he also was with Crete for 11 years.
He loved to read and fish. He enjoyed cooking which was great for his family!
He gave love, joy and happiness to many, many people. We will feel the loss of David always, but it will be tempered by our memories of him.
