Bruce C. Delassus

Bruce C. DeLassus, age 79, died on Saturday, July 15, 2017 at his residence surrounded by his family.
He was born in Aliceville, AL on September 12, 1937, the son of the late Freddie and Lovie Mae Harbin DeLassus. He served his county in the United States Army and was a retired District Operations Manager with Lance Foods. He was a member of Englewood Baptist Church and the Ron Hill Sunday school class.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia C. DeLassus of Jackson, TN; two sons, David B. DeLassus of Littleton, CO and Mark J. DeLassus and wife Carol of Medina, TN; two brothers, Dwayne Duren of Pascagoula, MS and Rodney Duren of Pensacola, FL and five grandchildren, Christopher W. Bryant, Paul D. DeLassus, Matthew C. DeLassus, Ryleigh M. DeLassus and Hailey E. DeLassus.
He was also preceded in death by his daughter, Sherry Lynn DeLassus Bryant; his step-father, William Monroe Duren; his mother in law, Edna Carter; a brother in law, Russell Rouse; sister in law, Barbara Duren and a great nephew, Justin Forsberg.
SERVICES: A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM Monday, July 17, 2017 in the chapel of Arrington Funeral Directors with Dr. Philip Jett, Dr. Brent Lay and Mark White officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Memorial Gardens with Military Honors.
The family will be receiving friends on Monday, July 17, 2017 from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM prior to the service at Arrington Funeral Directors.
