Betty Ticer Simpson

November 14, 1936 — July 11, 2016

Betty Passed peacefully and walked hand in hand with Jesus through the golden gates of Heaven on Monday, July 11, 2016. Her broken tired body healed to perfection. Her spirit renewed at the sight of all her loved ones awaiting her arrival. We can only imagine the excitement of her parents, siblings, husband and children. What a reunion it must have been. Glory be to God!
After retiring from Rainey, Kizer, Reviere and Bell she enjoyed the small things in life. She was very content going to church and spending time with family. One of her greatest joys was her beloved pet and constant companion of eleven years (Manley).
Betty was preceded in death by her parents: Charles and Reatha Ticer; husband, James D. Simpson; Brother, Charles Ticer; Sister, Ruth Norvell and children, Michael Lee Simpson and Barbara Kay Simpson.
Betty leaves to cherish her memory, her sons, Patrick (Rhonda) Simpson and Chuck Simpson; grandchildren, Michael (Marcy) Simpson, Brian (Leah) Simpson, Michelle (Jason) Hurst, Stephen Simpson; great grandchildren, Saige Hurst, Connor Simpson, Clayton Simpson, Jaycee Hurst, Preslee Simpson, Hattie Claire Simpson and Dani Grace Simpson.
