Betty Ann Dean, age 70, died on Saturday, March 26, 2016 at her residence surrounded by her family and under the loving care of Hospice of West Tennesee.
She was born in Chicago, IL on February 26, 1946. Betty was employed for over thirty years with Jackson Madison County General Hospital holding various positions and retiring from LHC Group in July 2015, which was formerly Medical Center Home Health. She was married for twenty-two years to Dicky Dean who preceded her in death on June 15, 2015. Betty enjoyed crafting and gardening. She was a loving wife, mother and “Nanney” to her grandchildren.
She is survived by her daughters, Debbie Click (Archie) of Jackson, TN, Tammy Surratt (Greg) of Parsons, TN and Donna Williams (John Mark) of Jackson, TN; five grandchildren, Shay Miller (Jack), Zack Surratt (Gloria), Lauren Williams, Kayla Williams and Sarah Click; great grandchildren, Levi, Derek, Lee and Hallie; and two sisters, Joanne Barker of Medon, TN and Carol Drum of Chicago, IL.
SERVICES: A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, March 30, 2016 in the chapel of Arrington Funeral Directors with Dr. Rick Savage officiating. The family will be receiving friends on Tuesday, March 29, 2016 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Arrington Funeral Directors.
